Defence Discount Service – Gives members of the Armed Forces community discounts online and on the high street. Many high profile companies are engaged with the Service and it offers discounts on a wide range of products. The Defence Privilege Card is a key part of the Defence Discount Service. The Defence Discount Service iPhone app is also available.

GOV.UK – This Government website provides a wealth of information on many financial elements.

Financial Services Authority (FSA) – The UK’s financial watchdog provides impartial and comprehensive guidance on financial matters. Their website contains useful information, offering financial product comparisons, guides, calculators and product explanations.

Forces Discount – A discount site for UK Forces

Forces Financial – Offer a range of competitive financial services, tailored to meet the specific needs of HM Forces personnel and their families.

Forces Law – Offer a wide range of services to meet the legal needs of serving personnel and their families, as well as retired service men and women. Forces Law have a nationwide network of solicitors who can offer advice on all matters, from civilian issues to courts martial.

Forces Pension Society – This independent organisation exists to protect the occupational pension interests of of all Members of the Armed Forces.

Joint Personnel Administration Centre (JPAC) – First point of contact for pay issues.

MoneyBasics- An independent site, which offers a broad spectrum of financial advice. If you are in debt and need advice you can call their free phone help line on: 0800 138 1111 to speak to a CCCS counselor.

MoneyForce – This money website has been launched especially for Armed Forces personnel and members of their family. Whether you’re dealing with debt, interested in investments or puzzled about payday loans, MoneyForce will arm you with all the information you need to get MoneyFit.

moneysavingexpert.com – The aim of this site is to help you save money on anything and everything by finding the best deals and beating the system.

National Debt Line – Provide free, confidential and independent advice on how to deal with debt problems. You can call their helpline on: 0808 808 4000.

PAX insurance – Providing military insurance to HM Armed Forces and their families.

Rewards For Forces – This is a free to join savings scheme for the Armed Forces community. Membership gives access to thousands of on-line and in-store discounts, from major high street shops, restaurants, and leisure facilities.

Royal Navy Website – The Community pages on the Royal Navy Website provides a wealth of information and links covering a vast range of issues. If you cannot find what you are looking for on our website, the Community pages may be able to point you in the right direction.

Royal British Legion – Provide support to serving and ex-Service people and their dependants who are suffering financially.

Services Insurance and Investment Advisory Panel (SIIAP) – Before choosing a company, use this site to check which companies subscribe to SIIAP and are recognised by the MOD.

Service Life Insurance – The Life Insurance website designed specifically for the British Armed Forces.

This organisation provides clear, independent and unbiased advice for free to help people make informed financial choices. Their website offers a wide range of tools and resources, including a financial health check and personalised action plan. The White Ensign Association – This registered charity functions to provide independent, free and confidential help on all matters of personal finance. This service is available to all serving and retired men and women of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, and their respective Reserves. It is also available to spouses and dependants of natural beneficiaries.
